Andre Lodemann es uno de esos djs alemanes de la vieja escuela que comenzó hace muchos años con los sonidos trance y techno alemán pero que mas tarde descubrió en los sonido house americanos su mayor pasión. Como productor no tiene un numero notable de trabajos publicados pero donde ha puesto su semillita ha dejado constancia de un sonido muy personal y de altísima calidad. Personalmente destacaría su remezcla para Rodney Hunter del tema Take A Ride (André Lodemann Club Ride), donde demuestra que los sonidos minimal y el dub son también fuente de inspiración para el, y el magnifico ep editado en Moods&Grooves, donde mete dos joyas en la cara B.

Como mezclador Andre sabe rebuscar bien y presentar lo mejor del deep house americano y europeo. En el festival Obervatori’06 de este año desarrollo un magnifico set llevándonos de los sonidos mas jazzy a los ritmos hipnóticos, cercanos al dub, con suma facilidad y manejando muy bien la pista. Todo un descubrimiento el de este dj residente en el club berlines Bohannon por donde van pasado lo mejor del deep house europeo.

Bio Lodemann, Andre
Lodemann was born in a little town in the former German Democratic Republik now a part of the reunified Germany. In the beginning he is mainly influenced by his parents favorite music, but unfortunately it is a rather limited repertoire due to the repressive censorship of the then ruling communist system. He tries to educate himself by listening to West German radio stations like RIAS and SFB hours at a time and recording songs on reel to reel and later on tapes. Soon he starts making his own mixed tapes with mostly “Extended Version” songs. Around the time of the German Reunification Lodemann is involved in the East Berlin techno and trance scene.1990 he purchases his first set of Technics MKII and starts his DJ career. At the beginning he is soley influenced by German labels such as: MFS, Superstition, Eye Q, but soon he includes Planet E, XL and Fnac into his sets. The American influence has a deep impact on his music style, as he discovers Soul, Funk and Hip-Hop and finally finds his way to House music. His House sets are since deep and funky. His music becomes more than just danceable rhythms. he discovers the emotional and spiritual depth of Deep House. „My vision as a DJ is to create an atmosphere, arouse emotions and touch people.“ Often misunderstood in Germany, his sets are welcomed and acknowledged in the European House scene. 1999 Lodemann starts producing House tracks. In 2004 his first track E-Movement EP comes out on Moods & Grooves Records, a Detroit Deep House label. A year later he remixes tracks for Rodney Hunter on G-Stone Recordings and for [re:jazz] on INFRAcom! Recordings. Both remixes are well recognized in the House scene and consolidate his own sound. Lodemann helps shaping the well-received Deep House night „Our House“ in a Berlin Mitte Club BOHANNON as its resident DJ in 2005/2006. Besides his many international gigs, he regular dj-guest in Berlin clubs such as Kinzo and Watergate.
