Mucho hemos tenido que esperar para tener el primer BrokenMix firmado por una mujer pero ha merecido la pena. En esta ultima entrega nos deleitaremos con el sonido neo disco que Maritina mezcla desde tierras helenas.
Hace un mes, mas o menos, se dejo ver por el festival Sonar’08 y estuvo pinchando en el escenario que Red Bull Academy instala para dar a conocer a todos los participantes de la ultima edición. Maritina fue una de las integrantes de ese selecto grupo de elegidos, que a modo de semidioses en el Olimpo, pudieron compartir experiencias y crecer como artistas gracias a las conferencias magistrales de pesos pesados en la escena musical internacional y del trabajo en grupo.

BIO Maritina
Starting her musical adventure as a drummer in early years, mari.cha went through various musical influences, like all styles of rock, jazz, funk, electronica and many more.
In 2002 she started djing, mostly house music and became part of a team named Dance Without Complex. She participated in various venues and also in some private parties and had a couple of residencies in local bars. Through the years the musical influences grew more and in september of 2007 she was chosen as a participant for the Red Bull Music Academy at Toronto.
Last year she started the “HIGHER LOVE” theme, which is the name for some parties she throws and the idea behind what she does: deep love for music and exchange with other people.
Disco, house, soul, techno, funk, hip hop, acid is what you will probably hear during her sets.
Some production will also come soon.
