Para mi es una satisfacción contar con Dj QU en la lista de los brokenmixers al ser uno de mis productores fetiche en los últimos años. Propietario del sello Strength music es la nueva cara del underground Neoyorkino, junto a artistas como Levon Vincent, y uno de los productores y djs mas respetado por la escena deep house Europea.

Su estilo opresivo y oscuro, siempre empujando, al baile queda reflejado en la sesión que nos ocupa donde además deja patente sus dotes a la hora de manejar el tempo de una sesión. Todo un referente en los tiempos que corren.

Ramon Lisandro Quezada aka Dj Qu first came to international prominence with his offering on the seminal “Expressway ep ” on TS records , in 2006 .

His Strength music imprint was launched in 2005  and continues to garner interest from  record buyers  , Dj’s and press alike . His “Rainy Daze” track remains one of the highlights on the highly collectable Unity Kolabo double compilation , on the mighty Jus Ed’s excellent , “Underground Quality” label .

Dj Qu’s dj talent goes beyond his recent profile as a producer. Famous in New York & beyond for his outstanding dj sets and especially for his residency at New York institution HouseDanceConference. New York club & dance experience has become an institution for attracting the best dancers in New York , and the most spiritually uplifting music , since its inception in 1999 .

Qu personally describes his style of playing @ the Conference as ” A dancer’s energy and mood presentation ”

Dj Qu & P Funk were commissioned by Nike to compose the music for a work out dvd , titled “Rockstar Workout ” .

Dj Qu is gaining favour as a dj of note , already having played clubs such as Fabric in London , Tape Club in Berlin , e.t.c.
